The performance of the XBTC is based on three main premises: the existence of a shared and compartmentalized database, a person in charge of the coordination of the general activity in close relationship with an executive committee, and the existence of protocols with detailed description of the management and evaluation of the tissue requests, obtention and preservation of samples and the accreditation of the nodes included in the network.
